Dr. David (Kyu Hyung) Kang was born in South Korea and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Molecular and Cell Biology from Cornell University, followed by his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry in 2016. After dental school, he completed a one-year general practice residency at New York-Presbyterian Queens Hospital. Dr. Kang has extensive experience treating children in his private practice and is passionate about creating a positive and comfortable dental experience for young patients.
He is happily married to his wife, Hyejin Rhee, and is the proud father of their six-year-old son, Justin, who is the light of his life.
Recently, Dr. Kang relocated to Grand Rapids to join Pediatric Dentistry of Michigan. He is excited to welcome new patients and their families to the practice.
